WX2100™ Application Instructions
Please follow the instructions below for optimum performance.
- The surface to be coated should be clean and dry. The temperature should be between 45-95 degrees Fahrenheit
- If the antenna is dirty, wash with a mild detergent, then rinse well with water.
- Shake the can vigorously for 1-2 minutes before application.
- Spray, holding the can vertically 8-10 inches from surface and moving evenly covering 6-10 inches per second. Shake the can every 15 seconds during the application. The coating should appear frosty as it begins to dry.
- Allow 2 hours to dry before exposure to rain.
- To check for a successful application, the finished surface should have a frosty appearance and repel water. If water does not bead up and roll off the antennae, the application has failed.
- Reasons for failure include a coating application that is too thin, not fully or regularly mixed, applied at too high (> 90°F) or low (< 32°F) a surface temperature, or subject to precipitation before the coating is dry.
- If necessary, the coating can be reapplied.
- If this fails, please contact WX2100info@cytonix.com.
